If this is for gaming, then I think you should have spent more on the GPU and less on the CPU

Well it would have been kind of hard since he got the CPU for $100 which is a great deal for that.

Ah. Right. I spy a Microcenter deal with that mobo...

Ok. I bought that mobo for $40 off through a Microcenter bundle with the 8320.

Would you mind explaining how you managed to get the 212 EVO to mount sideways like that? Most AMD builds are forced to mount the cooler running up and down which is arguably less efficient but every now and then I see someone who pulls this off...

I think that it's only up/down mounted on Fm2 Sockets, AM3+ are fine...

Not a bad build, a bit cheap on the gpu imo, but its aight.

Decent budget build for a kid +1. Which OS? That will add 100 to the build out total. I probably would have forked out the extra $20 and got the Seagate 1TB Hybrid. They are amazing bang for buck until SSD come down in price.

One question though. What do you mean by customer?

Someone who hired me to build the computer....

I hope your customer(s) knows and agreed to the pirated version of Windows. Selling a customer something on either a lie, or a lie by omission makes my business ethics get rattled.

Nah they know. The person is one of my friends and they don't care lol

Well I would have upvoted but now you get a downvote. I absolutely hate people who use pirated Windows.

The hd 7770 is equal to the gt 640 which is not much of a gaming card.

If you have owned both you would know they aren't even close in what they can run comfortably. 7770 is a much better gaming card

So? He mostly plays WoW...and plays it at 720p....

Sad face for 720p gaming instead of 1080p.
