I wanted to build a PC that I could have in the living room. I didn't want to wait for the steam box, and decided the next gen consoles just weren't going to cut it for me this time around.
Great little build, who needs a big rig these days? (rhetorical, I know some some folks do lol)
What's the deal with the not-totally-screwed-down stand-off and messed up io shield? You can't show pics like that & not explain! :D
I mighta been tempted to pay the extra $ for a semi modular psu.
Yeah, I went back in and got it screwed down all the way. It took some effort, but I couldn’t leave it like that.
Neat little build how did you go with clearence for the cables between the CPU and the GPU with the 280X?
how is it running on a 550w psu I have a xfx psu and are thinking of getting this gpu any crashes ect
No crashes yet whatsoever. I just upgraded to a rx580 and noticed the old 280x required a bigger power supply than I had. Didn’t realize it at the time, but I never even noticed a problem.
I have the same question :)
