Description

Update: Sorry I forgot to update this, then when I hadto come to the site to help a friend I seen all the emails about me getting my 1080 in, yes I ended up getting it in but due to the place I ordered from taking so long on the EVGA I ordered to come in, I just had them give me a Zotac GTX 1080Founder's Edition instead. So I went ahead and took new pictures and updated for everyone. Since I watercooled the gtx1080 I guess people will still doubt so when I think about it ill just throw the Zotac box in front of the computer for another pic or something. So yea, here she is completed with the Orange Cabling and White Tubing Flex as well. Thanks

So I recently started a Company (Uneek Concepts LLC) and with me having to use one PC for a BUNCH of stuff I had to build a decently beefy PC. For my Business we do several things but one of our main focuses is Inventing new Innovative products, and the process for doing this requires using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator for initial "Sketches", and then I usually use CAD Software to design Prototypes, etc. That we either 3D Print or send Blueprints off for other processes. Then we also need to Render the Designs for "Finalized" looks to send off to Investors, etc. We are also working on a new Niche Magazine that will be coming out soon and we use the PC to Design the magazine in Adobe InDesign CC! On top of all the Business work I do on the PC I am also a avid PC Gamer and had to be able to use the same PC for that as well! Which includes VR Gaming and Experiences (I am Disabled so I don'thave any "Disposable Income", so to start 'Uneek Concepts LLC' basically took what VERY little money I had so after this build I wasn't left with much because I am also current taking Product Design Classes at Cornell University, so I also am having to pay for those so altough I probably would have liked to go with HTC Vive VR Headset, I ended up only being able to afford the Razer OSVR Headset). I also wanted the PC to showcase our "Design/Creative" side if Clients or Investors were over and I was showing them Projects on the PC, I didn't want it to look like every other PC they may see/seen, so I took a bit of time to custom paint and vinyl wrap it! It came out pretty good, the inside also has custom white LEDs that go along with the Orange LEDs from the Case Fans. These particular pictures were taken before we installed the new GTX 1080 which we also customized into a "Hybrid"with a Corsair H90 and a Modified Corsair HG10 GPU Bracket to Water Cool the GTX 1080.

Some orange thermaltake ring fans would look snazzy in there.

I have 6 Thermaltake CL-F039-PL14OR-A Orange LED fans in it, the only fans that are not those are the two Corsair 120mm fans that peek through with the white rings, I actually planned on having 8 Thermaltake Orange LED fans but there wasnt enough room for two more 140mm on the othere side of my Radiator (I have in fans and out fans, 4 fans total on that radiator) so I had to use the two 120mm Corsair fans and doubled sided taped them to that radiator with a 1/4 air gap.

Now that we've seen your sleek case, we'd also like to see what's inside!

I will take some more pictures later tonight of the PC powered on (so you can see the LEDs) and ill shoot some of the case opened up as well, everything listed on the side is what is currently in the case minus the Western Digital HD that I am waiting on but still has a Seagate 2tb atm tho along side the Samsung SSD ( well not literally along side lol, the SSD drives on the 540 are on the cable management side. Then the other thing not currently installed is the GTX 1080 (EVGA) which is still being shipped, I currently have all the Hybrid parts waiting for it, thats why I was holding off on inside pics until the 1080 came in but ill do some now and update them when the 1080 comes in and I install the modified hg10 and h90 water cooler. In the 1080s place for now is a MSI R9 290X, which isn't horrible but I definitely can't wait for my 1080! Hehe.

Why wouldn't you just wait until you had the parts to post? It is getting quite annoying seeing all these people post 1080 builds or 1070 builds and they don't even have the parts installed.

Agree.

Why is it required to wait? Lol, I finished the wrapping and painting and wanted to post it up here, I was waiting to take the inside pictures until the 1080 got here, but its not like I just say hey I have a 1080 and im just lieing and never going to have it. I paid for the darn thing so I own it, everyone and their mothers bought 1080 and 1070s so stores are getting overwhelmed I would guess is why a lot of people don't have them in yet

When looking through recently completed builds I saw yours had a 1080 so I stopped in. I didn't stop in to see "oh actually I'm waiting for all of this equipment". Technically it is a fake build, which is reportable. Many builds have gotten taken down for this in the past. I'm just saying you shouldn't post your parts list of a build that isn't what you are claiming it is. Claiming you have a 1080 in your current build is false and can be used to attract more people to view the build with the expectation to see it. Furthermore, if we can't see it in the build how do we know that it is legitimate? It is just irritating.

Was this idea based of the wooden box builds method of putting vinyl on the case?

Awesome! I'm vinyl wrapping my air 540 too, only with knotty rosewood. If my case turns out half as good as yours I'll be happy =D

I forgot to update this page so I went ahead and wrote a "Update" in the listing itself and also added 3 new pics with the watercooled Zotac GTX 1080 Founder's Edition. I originally ordered the EVGA but since it was backordered for so long I just got the Zotac instead .
