So this case finally arrived at my door after waiting for it quite a while.
I used my NFC S4mini for quite some time now but now this will be my main rig.

This is the final destination after shrinking my big tower into a mid tower and now into this. The only part that survived from the old system is the GPU, everything else wouldn't fit.

Not more else to say other than I'm pleased with how it turned out.

That looks very nice. What keyboard are you using?

It's a custom case that I made on my own and a Roccat Suora FX PCB (so I got all that R, G and B). I also switched the TTC Brown with Gateron browns.
The keycaps are Doubleshot PBT translucent, but nothing special, got them from China.

The case itself is from stainless steal, lasercut and then bend. (You can see the PCB from the bottom)

Yeah, I figured it was something like that. I've been trying to find an off-the-shelf stainless or brushed aluminum case with mx browns and a white LED. Closest thing I own to it is a DSX Mechanical with MX Blues.

Your board stands out in all the best ways. Great job.

Romer G, master race ! Please don't get triggered. Just kidding.

It's nice that you can build your own custom board. I know it's an expensive little hobby.

Someday i will try to build a lubed silent red. Because my wife keep complaining about how loud my romer g tactile switch. Or maybe, just get a new "mancave" room.

Glad to see a Ghost up with some decent photos. Just got mine up and running yesterday.

You use the small tophat for extra clearance?

ThxAndBye submitter 2 Builds 1 point 3 months ago

Yes, otherwise the FTW3 won't have space for the power connectors.

Im so damm jellous right now!

This case is slick. I considered it for my upcoming build, but 307 Euros is steeeeeeep man. I decided to go with the window-less Nano S with Noctuas for dead-silence.

It's less without the TopHats but you are right, it's a rather expensive case.

Props man it's slick. I can bite the bullet on a $150 mechanical keyboard, but not a $250+ computer case. Enjoy it in good health.

Nice build! I gave up waiting on my Ghost and went for the A4 instead. My build is actually pretty similar to yours except I've got an 8700T instead of the 2600X.

I'm surprised the FTW3 doesn't fit without a top hat in the Ghost were it does in the Dan, although I think the Dan is slightly taller than the Ghost while being narrower.

Glad to see people are getting these and posting them up (finally)

Ghost S1 = +1! Enough said.

No but seriously great build, just love that case. Never pre-ordered one but ever since seeing it, I have been drawing up builds for a living room couch gaming pc. (Also not really looking to spend the money on a 2080ti right now and the 2080/2070 shouldn't exist/dont make any sense in the current state in my opinion so those too are out of the question) (1080ti or 2080ti are the only 2 options really)

How is the 2600x with the 1080ti? I've been looking at the 2600(non x) paired with a 2080ti for starters in a secondary build but may end up swapping the 8700k in my current build.

The 2600X is doing just fine imo. I haven't noticed any problem.
I used the 1080Ti with a 3770k @ 4.6GHz for a while already and that was about the same single core speed than the 2600X now has. The 3600MHz RAM might also do a part in getting every little ounce of performance from the 2600X.

I'll replace it with a Zen 2 7nm CPU when they launch next year tho. Never planed on using the 2600X for much longer.
