Description

This was my first time and I was on a budget, it took me almost 4 hours to build it. I use it for surfing the Internet, school and for playing light games such as Terraria, The Binding of Isaac, CS:GO and more. In the future I'm going to add an HDD, Windows 10, a video card and replace the Celeron with an i5 if I can afford it. Edit (28/04/2016): Added a new MSI 750 Ti, I'll post photos soon. Edit (01/05/2016): Added photos.

+1 for adding something to the title besides just "my first build".

-1 for the V300 (hopefully you don't fill it up too quickly :) )

+1 for the effort

+1 for getting a case that actually lets you do cable management in the future

EDIT: Is that an AL1916W in the part list?? I used to use that same model!

I think my math is off, +1 :)

Nice build. Why didn't you go with an APU though, that way you get more value for money.

If you do add a video card and i5, be sure to get a better PSU :-)

Can't upgrade to an i5 without replacing the MB if you go for an APU...

APU?

Accelerated Processing Unit. It's AMD's name for a chip with integrated graphics- they've done some cool stuff with them, like being able to crossfire the onboard with a low-end dedicated GPU.

which is pointless

It actually isn't.

Crossfiring a decent APU, like one from the A10 line, and something like an R7 250 actually yields some pretty surprising gains versus having one or the other. LinusTech has a video on it.

Well not everybody has a lot of money to spend on a Skylake build. DDR4 ram and 1151 chipset are a bit on the expensive side.

True, Skylake is more future proof upgrade wise. I was just "quoting" the description. ^

Sometimes does happen. If you've got couple of beers during work, like me :)
