Description

After 5 years of crappy laptop and todays games cannot run well on Nvidia GT630M 2GB,its time to build my first computer.Months of months of research, watching YouTube videos of PC build and guides, finally,i got myself a PC thats capable of running any AAA titles out there .This PC you're looking at,is for mainly gaming and some little video editing works or schools.

GTA V :75FPS BF4: 95FPS Fallout 4:98FPS

Part Reviews

CPU

Currently overclocked to 4.4Ghz at stock voltage.Powerful enough to run any kinds of games out there.

CPU Cooler

I have nothing to say about this Corsair cooler here since i don't bought it.The cooler you see on the picture is ID Cooling Frostflow 120L.Good cooler.Chills down my Skylake 60c when on load and 31c when idle.Really like the spinning LED lights.

Motherboard

Good motherboard, affordable, plenty of SATA ports aswell as the M.2 drive.

Memory

Nothing new. Cuz,its RAM.Every computer needs a memory

Storage

This is my first time using an SSD and i gotta tell ya i never go back to that old HDD. This thing is blazing fast!!Boots up only 9 seconds.Makes your computer like a Bugatti.

Video Card

My original plan was to go with Gigabyte G1 Gaming 1060 6GB,but this one has calling my name. I really like the RGB light. This card cools down with its state-of-the-art patented wing blade design. It was silent when i was playing Fallout 4 but during BF4,the card sounds like a jet engine but nah that doesn't bother me anymore.I'm really satisfied with this card. What a beast. 65c when loaded and 42c when idle.

Case

I really don't go with fancy colorful and aggressive looking case.I was looking for the sleek, modern and simple design case. Phanteks P400S is my perfect choice for the build.Cable management friendly case, lots of room so that you can just tuck all of your cables behind the back panel.Plus, lots of space if you guys wanna go with custom water cooled PC.

Power Supply

What can I say.Good and reliable power supply.

Wireless Network Adapter

Since my motherboard doesn't come with a build-in WiFi, Might aswell gonna purchase the adapter.Good connection. No lags plus, really like the black PCB.

Pretty much, went Asus all the way due to hearing about MSI having bad QC, I also picked the GTX 1060 6gb strix, and the Z170 Asus motherboard but with the new i5 kaby lake cpu's out and them being $80 cheaper than an i7 currently putting out the same clock speed I may lean towards the Z270 chipset and the kaby lake family instead of skylake. I too was looking for a 2017 build that would be future proof and capable of running all AAA games on ulta with little FPS drop.

By the way that liquid cooler looks awesome!

The cooler is pretty rare in the U.S. but you can get 'em on Amazon. The 1060 Strix is the perfect choice for me for future proof.Chews out any games out there.Haven't tried The Witcher 3 yet since I don't bought 'em.If you're looking for 2017 build, yeah, it's best go with Kaby Lake.I'm really satisfied with my build anyway

I'll have to take a look before next week when I hope to be piecing my build together. What resolution is your monitor? Also i'm sure it could run The Witcher 3 fine due to the fact it can run GTA V just fine. To each their own! I want to go with Kaby Lake but since I may get back into using Cinema 4D I might go with the cheap version of the i7 Skylake. I feel like i'll regret not getting the extra threads when its taking ages to render.
