Great build! +1 As odd as it might sound my favorite part is the desk/ setup as a whole. Where did you get the desk/which one is it?

  • 1 point

My only regret is I have only a single +1 to give. The OCD beautiful wire & cable management, the desk ...so nice and neat, the PC is built and planned perfectly, the color theme is on point, the Klipsch ProMedia Speakers (personal favorite, own 3 diff pairs in diff parts of the house).

Looking forward to seeing this on Featured very soon. Well done!!

Amazing build. Some nicer lighting on the inside would give it some pop, though. +9999 for the promedia speakers!

also- Nicer pics without flash, along with a longer description might land you a featured spot! Just need better pics...

Amazing build! What fans are those? Are they stock? Dod the manta come with thr RoG logos? Where did you get the RoG velco-bands? So many questions... Also +1 for RoG flair. How do you like the PG248Q?

Best monitor i owned worth every penny. The fan are deepcool 120mm red LED they cost $14.00 on newegg. https://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16835856051 The ROG fan decals come with the Asus Maximus impact board and the ROG gray bands came with the strix 1060 which is a really amazing card paired with a Gsync monitor.

I have an AMP 1060 atm, pretty happy with it, only have a 1080p 60hz monitor and the PG248Q is definitely on the list. Thanks.

This is amazing looking! The color scheme the use of a form factor everything is spot on . The sleeved cables just put the icing on the cake. I can find nothing wrong with this build and it is beautiful!

How are you getting 165 fps in gears of war 4 with a 1060??

  • 1 point

G-sync monitor im getting over 165Fps. . but i capped it at 165Fps Vsync disabled will give you a high Fps but looks like crap screen tearing. Thats where a G-sync monitor brings it all together my monitor is overclocked to a buttery smooth 180Hz

I'm %100 sure you are not getting 165fps with gears of war on ultra settings with a 1060....

Benchmarks show an average of 75 fps on a 1060 at 1080p. If your screen is 165hz it doesn't mean your game runs at 165fps (only if you are able to run it it will show 165fps).

Download msi afterburner and check your fps

I just uploaded a few pics in doom i also used the built in Fps counter my monitor has a built in Fps counter check it out maybe im reading it wrong!

  • 1 point

I just capped my fps and my Fps dropped to 134Fps see pic again this monitor has a build in Fps counter i hope this helps.

  • 1 point

The monitor say 180Fps and the the Doom Fps counter says 173Fps nothing is 100% accurate thats why im saying about 160/165Fps even if i was getting only 100Fps i would be happy i didnt pay $800.00 for the card.

Man I'm %100 sure you aren't getting those frames with a 1060 on 1080p. Heck even a titan xp wouldn't get that much frames. Download msi afterburner and check

  • 1 point

Ahahahahah lmao those aren't the in-frames. Probably your monitor needs a firmware update and its just showing the max fps it can display. Lets solve this mystery, either download msi afterburner or fraps

  • 1 point

Did you see the Doom fps or should i get a firmware update for the doom game???? Fraps and msi dont work on gears4 i tryed both only on doom.

  • 1 point

Lmao. So i go in the monitor settings and turn on FPS counter and 146, 180, 136, 164Fps ingame. I turn Gsync off and vsync on it goes to 60Fps but you think its a firmware update??? Fraps also saying 172Fps in Doom on Ultra.

  • 1 point

What happens when Vsync is turned off your Fps goes up right??? I never said my Fps is high because of the monitor is running at 180Hz i said i capped my Fps so i dont go over 165Fps do you understand G-sync if my Fps goes above the monitors refresh rate i will get screen tearing thats what im talking about. As far the Fps im using both the Doom and the monitors built-in FPS counter if thats not good enough i dont know what to tell you.

I love seeing Manta builds, I just got the white and black version and I'm so excited for the build!

Edit: I almost forgot, you can mount the radiator in the top compartment, it could help supply more air for the 1060.

  • 1 point

The 1060 runs so cool the 3 fans hardly spin up.

  • 1 point

I have 7 120mm fans in the case two ontop 4 in front and 1 in back and it runs whisper quiet using the fan controller that came with the Manta. I kid you not when I say whisper quiet my son asked me if fans were even working.

  • 1 point

Alot of people get confused with the fan controller. Just be sure to connect the pwm wire from the white pwm connecter to the mother boards pwm cpu fan pin connecter. Then all other fans to the nzxt fan controller.

One of the most stunning Mini-ITX builds I've seen anywhere. Gotta love that Avexir ram, not to mention the cooler. What brings it all together is either the NZXT Manta or those gorgeous extensions. Very OCD pleasing as well. Job well done.

How did you change the NZXT logo to red led? Loving the build btw.

  • 1 point

I went to staples and picked up a clear red plastic folder and unscrewed the led from the case fit and cut the clear red folder to fit and bam! Color change.

Nope, it's the case X_X

do you find gsync is necessary or do you think i could play AAA games without it on a 1070

Gsync isn't necessary to play AAA title's, @ 60fps but with Gsync i get 125fps in doom
