Description

Built this for a friend of mine, I really enjoyed building it. The only thing I would change is the power supply, a modular one would have made things a lot easier but I think it turned out great!

You don't need 850W unless you are upgrading later on. 500-600w is enough for the 7870. The PSU you selected is going to roast. Get one with at least 80+ Bronze.

I realize how much wattage I needed. It just some extra power for future upgrade capabilities. The PSU is actually 80 bronze certified.

You could have found a much better, and cheaper PSU, instead of that un-reliable one.

Good build nonetheless.

Everyone chill about the PSU, I understand that's it's not the best but it works! My friend who owns this computer will be changing the PSU in the near future. He got the extra wattage in case he wanted to crossfire by the way.

Nice build on a budget, I know what it is to be stuck with budget limiting systems, I had one, and I lived where I had access to very little supply of any components, so when my graphics card, motherboard and memory blew all at once, I had to make some tough decisions.

All that is passed now, thank goodness, finally starting to build a decent system, just takes time.

Anyway, nice build :)

Nice build for just over $500, well done. Yeah the PSU kinda sucks like everyone else said however if it works who cares. +1

Are you talking about the little window on the left side of the case? No, that was built into the case! There was no modding, it just came like that. Did your's not have the window? Thanks!

Actually, I believe there are two version of this case. There is one with the windowed side panel and one without. Looks like you ordered the one without, sorry :/
