Description

For starters, I know this color scheme is off (not AMD). This build started off as a HTPC (i5, GTX 760, h87) and has evolved its way into a full fledged gaming rig. I use it to game, code, edit videos and photos, and for school. I am upgrading the M.2 to the Samsung SM951, I'll update as soon as its in there. This case is super easy to work with, I can't recommend it more. I did have some problems with the STRIX cards and another case (vertical clearance issues). Let me know what you think.

I see you haven't been here long. Welcome to PCPP!.

Around here any build with "Beast" or similarly obnoxious name will get downvoted into the ground. This is a nice build, so I advise you to change the name to something more inventive.

Solid build, why did you go with 2x 970's opposed to a single 980ti?

I started off with one 970, then got the 4k monitor, and needed a little more juice without springing $600+.

are you using the top fans as intake or exhaust?

personal thought without looking at the machine in person... since the mosfets are relying on the front and rear fans for cooling, may want to ensure the top fans are blowing air out as well to pull the heat cloud off the strix (non blower) gpu cards to relieve stress... would be asking a lot of a single rear exhaust for the three front and then two top fans.

nice looking build here... hope you don't run into the issue i had with a leg shearing off the h440 when sliding the case on my desk

I have the top fans and rear fan exhaust and the front fans are intake. I haven't had that issue though.

Nice cable management and component selection for the most part. I echo the sentiment that a single 980ti would have made a bit more sense but if you were going for SLI at ~$680 two 970's aren't bad choices. +1 from me but you might want to change the name of the build if you want more fake internet points lol
