Description

The parts list shows "potential issues/incompatibilities" of 2 more SATA ports needed, this is solved with the "4 Port SATA Serial ATA PCI RAID Controller Card."

OCZ Vertex Turbo : OS and key programs | VelociRaptor : most Steam games | 1st WD 1TB : remaining programs, games, and Calibre Library | 2nd WD 1TB : internal backup for personal photos, projects, and Dropbox | 3rd WD 1TB : old backup files from XP days that I can't bring myself to delete | Samsung 2TB drives : all media, user files, and general trash heap

The stock fan on the Hyper 212+ has been replaced with the Noctua NF-F12 PWM with no noticeable increase in temperatures.

I don't get the hate on this build. Sure, cabling needs some work, and the fans appear to be listed wrong. But it's fairly obvious this isn't a new build - the 890FX mobo, his XP-days backups, the OCZ RAM... Also, all his drives are there - 2 in the 5.25" bays, 6 in the 3.5" bays.

I shouldn't be one to judge, but... this build is bad! Where did all your money go exactly!?!? $2000 and you ended up with... I don't even know what. These are parts I'd expect in a $500 budget build, not a $2000 one. Why on earth do you have so many HDDs and of so many different types and sizes? I'm just confused, this is a mess.

I don't see all of his HDDs in the picture. Does anyone else? I think he may have accidentally added some of the parts a ton of times?

Also, those fans a great quality... but they look so ugly! I could never find myself buying one of those!
