Description

*Build mostly complete, I need to install a little more software and double check everything is working then tidy up the wires. I will also be adding some copper heat sink to the GTX 970s ram very soon. More pics will follow to show the builds progress early next week.

So I found out that my wife is pregnant. I started off super excited (and still am!), but then it hit me as my wife was describing everything we needed to do to get ready. I started seeing dollar signs fly around each and every room of our house. BUILD, before the little brat gets it all! So I did. Nothing super fancy, like some things I have seen on here. I could not break the bank with a kid on the way, but with the turkey day sales in full swing I didn't do to bad. The prices on everything will be the sale price minus the mail in rebate where it applies.. This PC is getting used to play new gen games like Shadows of Mordor, Far Cry 4, World of Warcraft (I know, not next gen but will be played I am sure, what else can a guy do while holding an infant?), and what ever else peaks my interest. They will be played in high resolutions on a 55" Samsung TV which means it will also be acting as a media center for Netflix, music, and the like. These will be its main to functions. With the water cooling systems going, I will most likely try my hand at a little OCing as well. I will post more info when the time comes. I will also be sure to get you guys some Under Load Temps very soon, along with the 3dMark 11 Results. =-) Other than I look forward to some comments. This is my first solo build, and am very happy with it so far.

has been fantastic so far! I had this machine running maxed using software that lets me log in 3 users at the same time. The computer was essentially operating as 3 at once. 2 of us where gaming and the ladies had the tv to play music on and surf the web or watch videos. The computer was close to running 100% and no issues at all. Did all this without even an OC

I at one point over clocked to 4.0 and it was still running like a dream with very little increase in any temperature. I have not attempted oc on the GPU. With that warranty voided I didn't want to risk much.
