You got an overkill monster with 5930k and 32 gigs of ram for gaming and entertainment..

Hope you are doing stuff that takes advantage of this monster.

+1 :)

Thanks! Well I always play a lot of Arma III, unfortunately its not optimized well. The witcher 3 has been a go to over the past few weeks , steady 100fps at 1440p ultra all around. What else.... oh BF4 has kicked back up again, that game is super optimized finally, running amazing at 140 fps. The temperatures haven't touched 50*c , love me some hybrids!

Think he was referring to the fact they are hybrid AIO cards.

I like your build, mainly the cpu and gpu combo. If you get a chance let me know how u like the gpu cooling I wanted to get one for a small form factor build I'm doing. +1

This is a very nice build. Were those hybrid cards difficult to orient due to their individual cooling?

  • 1 point

Yep it was a bit of process... Evga Suggests placing them above the card with Rad I/o at the bottom which limits position. Apparently this is only to avoid gargling noise etc but doesn't affect cooling performance. But yeah with a CPU Rad on top I was limited to front or rearor case bottom. I chose the front because there is a removable filter located there so it would help keep the Rad clean. Those hoses are tight tho!

Yeah, I couldn't pull that off.

Can you offer some details on the 115 CPU Cooler arrangement? I am using this case and the 115 on my first build and everyone seems to mount the radiator at the top, but some set it up as exhaust and some as intake. I read an article that intake was preferable, even though it blows hot air into the case. Radiator mounted on the top grill. Fans mounted below the radiator, sucking air through the radiator and top grill and venting it into the case. That seems counter intuitive to me, but I read that is the best way. Can you comment so I can learn what best to do?

Do you think this huge case is good for me if I have only one 5TB HDD and 1 M.2 SSD? One 1080 GPU. The case will be half full. 5.25 front rack not used at all. Remove it? Thanks.... Thanks

Hey sorry I did not respond sooner, i did not get a notification email! I choose to mount on top as an exhaust simply for positional convince and dust. My cpu is still at stock settings and I have not seen temperatures hit even 50*c.

that moment when your cpu costs more than a few thousand people's builds
