Description

This was my first attempt at a gaming pc and first complete build, i decided to put it on here in case anyone was curious about part compatibility. I paid less than 500$ for this pc as a whole. I do not recommend this case to anyone, for 100$ it has no cable management. Cables look a mess from the picture but i did manage to get them pretty flat against the panel to not obstruct air flow.

That motherboard is totally inadequate for the voltage of the 8320. It needs to be switched soon.

It's a cheapo board, but should hold it's own, as long as you don't OC.

i got it for free at microcenter with the 8320, so i cant complain, and i was able to get it to 4.2 ghz but i didnt try to push it to far

I'd swap that MOBO before attempting a serious overclock. 4.2Ghz is actually really good for that particular board.

Your cooler will take nearly any OC you can throw at it. The EVO is one of the best budget coolers on the market right now.

$120 for 8GB RAM? $200 for Win7 Ultimate?

If you paid under 500 bucks, please manually update the prices. We want to see those deals, cause right now it looks like you were ripped off. Bad.

7790 is a pretty weak GPU for gaming. Why spend all the money on that CPU?

thats very cheap for an 8XXX FX cpu. 7790 is a little outdated, but can still push playable framerates on today's AAA titles on low/med settings @ 720p.

Fx 6300 and 8320 where the same price and 20$ less i couldve gotten the 4130, which one would you get? And the 7790 at the time was the highest performance per $, i was going to get a 7850 but i waited to long andthey jumped up to rediculous prices after christmas
