Description

My first actual Desktop PC and build (Previously lived off laptops) Purchased all my parts from NCIX because they were the closest PC part dealer where I live and because I really do not like ordering things online. Using this as a middle range game build.

Built this for a few reasons:

1: Most of my friends were PC gaming

2: My "decent" Laptop (Hp Pavilion G6) broke down and I was stuck using an old netbook.

3: There are a lot more Games on PC than console so far

I had originally intended to use a different CPU and RAM, an AMD Phenom Quad core 3.4ghz Black edition and Mushkin Silverline Stilettos 2x2GB, respectively, but changed them due to not being in stock.

All in all, I'm happy with this build and the way it turned out.

How does that motherboard do? The sockets for the FX processors look unstable.

Mobo isn't too bad. I've seen people on newegg with varying experiences with it, but it's been holding out pretty good for me and my "hardcore" gaming. Haven't tried OCing yet, but I probably never will OC.

Just wanted to check, when it came down to gaming, would you say the GPU bottlenecked your performance at all? I'm currently using that GPU but with a Athlon 5350 so I was planning to purchase this CPU to upgrade without needing a new GPU.
