Pretty lucky MOBO :)

looking at updating my GF's computer and having to do a MOBO and CPU upgrade really sucks.

A nice upgrade I must say, enjoy the gaming :p

Nice upgrade; the longer you can keep it out of the landfill the better. That 960 probably won't use all 4 GB unless you go to a 1440p panel so it was a little overkill; but looks like you got it at a good price so eh, why not? The only thing I can see you might want to get next is an SSD to replace the Toshiba, assuming the OS is on that drive. Your boot times will go way down, and your games and OS will be noticeably more responsive. Happy gaming!

Hehe I also think that it is a little exaggerated, but it is good to have more for future games to 1080P :)

would love to get that gpu with 4gb

would recommend the r9 380 or r9 380x you can find the 380 alot cheaper and has a 10% performance boost i believe and the 380x a 20% over the 960

It's not really worth it, the 960 wont utilize 4GB.

The AM3+ processors can be used in AM3 motherboards. It's a nice feature, and I will be putting my FX-4300 into my grandmother's HP from 2010 because it consumes the same amount of power as her x4 965 Black, and I might use the 965 for something else, or sell it.

Am3 can be used in am3+ sockets not the other way around

Ah, I messed up. Sorry. I realized this afterwards.
