I HIGHLY suggest either have your CPU cooler on full blast at all times with your computer on or learn how to set up a custom water cooling system. the FX 9590, yes its an 8 core clocked at 5 Ghz stock, BUT it runs EXTREMELY hot. Without a custom water cooling system, you might fry that thing within 2 years.

Oh and your GPU specs are wrong. The 5000 MHz is your CPU not your graphics card. If a GPU runs at 5 GHz, everyone would know about it.

I kinda really hate the look of that case, but what ever personal preference. Also the 9590 is available in the parts selections menus

when first put the up the and fx 9590 was not up at the time

i am starting to hate the case not because of the looks its the wire management it terrible and i was going to put a 240 mm fan in but the case done not have enough clearance to put it in.

If you have the money for a $300 CPU then why on earth would you get the FX-9590 instead of an i7-4770K?

totally agree. The heat and power consumption of the 9590 are ridiculous.

FX 9590 is actually better (if you can cool it properly that is). There is a review where the guy benched marked the FX 9590 against an 1000 dollar intel CPU (because at the time FX 9590 costs about 800 dollars), and the bench marks were neck and neck, with the Intel barely winning.

I know that performance wise AMD is close to Intel, but the power consumption of the FX-9590 is just crazy. I can't recall the exact numbers but about two or three times that of a comparable Intel CPU. And the 9590 of course doesn't have as much room to overclock because it is already factory overclocked just about as far as it can go and that stuff runs hot.

Found the numbers and i7-4770K comes out on top in all catagories, especially single-threaded. http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-4770K-vs-AMD-FX-9590
