Description

Friend gave me a HP 8300 Compaq from a hospital. Decided to strip it for the cpu, and build a hackintosh as I needed some apple exclusive DAWS for university. Had some amd ram lying around from a previous build. Mobo was bought off ebay about 50$ used. Overall very quiet build with around 6500 bench mark score on Fire Strike, havent booted it in MacOS yet, waiting for a friend to come over with a mac.

Is that an actual all brushed aluminum case or a faux finish? Because if it was all aluminum that would be really damn impressive.

I need to make an attempt to dampen sound in my studio too. Even small amounts make a big difference, I am sure.

I highly suggest the acoustic foam as well as wood tiles. The large panels of foam you see are just large interlocking foam floor tiles I got from Wally word. The wood tiles I got from Ikea. Wood helps to absorb and distribute the sound evenly in the room.
