Description

These 2 cpus have a long story. back in 2008 i was doing a E-waste drive and i found just these 2 cpus (side by side) sitting in a box. i forgot about them for about 8 years until i found them a few months ago and wanted to do a build on it. so Here is the system!

UPDATE Do NOT BUY 4PIN EPS to 8PIN EPS CABLES

it caught fire and killed the whole system this system was fun while it lasted

not a bad HDD but not the best.

slow read and write speeds compared to a Seagate 250gb HDD

Very cool, are you using it for anything in particular? Too bad those Xeons aren't hyperthreaded.

Mainly for rendering old videos so i can make them a smaller file size but i wonder are there any lga 771 xeons that have HT?

Huh, it looks like they only started hyperthreading Zeons at the 1366 socket. Learn something every day.

ok this is cool, I have to admit. It would probably get outperformed by an AMD FX 8XXX based system, but it's so cool nonetheless

the cinebench score is 650 i don't think it would outperform a FX 8XXX (plus the tdp is insane)

The 8350 is only 125W, and the E counterpart is 95W
