Description

this was my second build because i didnt have a pc at my dads house. it cost a lot less than the components on here make it but i can't remember which bits cost less than normal.

the pentium seemed a good choice because it means if i run into some money that shouldnt be too hard to upgrade, and i only use this pc for the internet and light gaming really.

i got the graphics card from ebay and it seems to work perfectly, i have it overclocked to the max with afterburner and its stable with no increase in voltage and it only struggles in new AAA games. i got the semi modular power supply because i couldnt afford a modular one but its better than the non-modular one on my other build.

the only issue is the graphics car hitting 70 degrees on the valley benchmark so if anyone could suggest something to help with that it would be much appreciated

overall i think this build went pretty well and i didnt have much trouble getting it to work.

i apologise for the not very high quality images

I know for a fact that if you turn some of the settings down to normal you can play games like fallout 4 and witcher 3. If it can do that and if that card is better just toggle some of the settings to normal and turn aa off and you will get 30+ fps.

Woops I forgot to mention the card you could turn down to normal settings was the 750 ti.

i havent played fallout 4 on here but my other build had a similarly priced 7850 and it could run at a framerate i was comfortable with on ultra with just a couple of the settings turned down. same with the witcher 3, aside from a few stutters that dont bother me too much

I might build something like this myself first I would get a better SSD or replace it with a hard drive, it would be cheaper for more space, but its slower :/ I don't know if you could overclock the CPU very well ( you said you had a cooling problem?) anyway nice build +1

i generally use an external hard drive for storage because i have this at my dads and another system at my mums and its more convenient than downloading games twice, and if needs be i can add 2 hard drives as well. i do overclock the cpu but i need to pick up a cheap cooler. The cooling was more the GPU as id much prefer it at a lower temperature. thank you
