Description

My first ever build. Completed over the weekend by myself and I'm happy to report everything is running smoothly. Very happy with how things have turned out and I have plans already for a lot more parts to add shortly and upgrade in the future.

System built mainly for gaming but will also use for my work as a designer.

Awesome build. My next one will be similar parts in an ITX case. Hows the 390x for you?

I won't get a chance to put the 390x through its paces till tonight but so far it's been much quieter and cooler than I expected.

Will post benchmark results later after a few tests.

I got a good deal on my 390x and it has performed very well so far. I did look at the 970 but at higher resolutions the 390x performs better.

I've always had nvidia so going to amd was a risk but it seems to have worked out ok.

Also, the 970 has that 3.5gb ram issue that can't be sorted, the 390x has 8gb of ram.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion though. I'll be looking at a gtx 1080 later this year once I've seen how the 3rd party versions turn out.
