Mainly used for gaming. It's kind of a hodgepodge of parts. The motherboard and CPU were given to me, and I already had about 2tb of scavenged storage. The rest was all bought because my laptop fried, and I had an insurance plan for it.
Tell me how that CPU and motherboard combo goes. I am looking into that same combo for my build.
I suggest getting the m5a97 r2.0 instead of the Le version. The Le version (he has) has no USB 3.0 headers so no USB ports can be used at the front of your case.
(and its misses some heat sinks)
Dat graphics sag though...
I'll second that I'm actually looking to do that as well, keep us posted, nice job.
My apologies, mine was the m5a99x
how is the gaming with that setup, and frames/settings?
what do u think of this monitor input lag?
i mean while playing BF or COD when u move the mouse DOES the screen move at the same time?
$200 SSD with a $100 AMD CPU. I don't understand the thought process.
Because you dont need an expensive CPU for gaming...
Read the post again.
"The motherboard and CPU were given to me"
I read the first two sentences. Well ****.
I don't understand your thought process, looks like a stable build to me. Albeit he could have saved a lot of money here and there, the SSD is a good choice. The fx-6300 is plenty enough power to keep up with that 280x.
edit: to further add on, his build should not be down voted because of this. There are TONS of pcpartpicker users that do not even post their builds at all, I know I haven't posted a couple of mine. It has just become to norm for people to rant about negligible subjects on pcpartpicker, especially when new users that have been registered for ~1 month try to give their 2 cents on the subject.
