Part Reviews

4.8 Ghz stable with the Corsair h100i v2.

CPU Cooler

4.8 Ghz stable with the Intel Core i7-6700k. Took a star off because no RGB special effects, only static color.

For this price you really can't complain, but I miss a USB 3.1 on the back..

3TB is a lot of space for $100.

Video Card

Glad I didn't get the FTW 1070 that explodes. 5/5 doesn't explode and would buy again

I wonder if Corsair can cram a 5.25'' drive bay into this thing... There seems to be a lot of space in the PSU/HDD chamber

Power Supply

Supplies my i7-6700k with more than enough for a stable 4.8Ghz

Wireless Network Adapter

Supports 802.11ac which is the future of Wi-Fi, gigabit wi-fi here I come!

An IPS panel for $170? HELL YEAH

Got it with an impulse purchase for $30 on a sale, no regrets

Given to me for free, 5/5

Given to me for free, beats the **** out of some 2.1 speakers.

Sub is small and audio quality is not that good, but for $60 I really can't complain.

Actually got the nacho cheese architecture, this chip allowed me to run Crysis in VR. 5/5 would eat again.

Actually got the Intelli Coca-Cola i9-9900, the integrated NoVideo GrillForce 970 graphics allows me to run Fallout 4 on ultra at 4K 144fps. 3.5/4 would buy again.

lol, "3.5/4" clever reference you got there. Nice build as well, cable managment could be netter but you got that dank OC and a nice video csrd so you're set! :D

Jacoby2002 1 Build 2 points 24 months ago

3.5/4 sounds familiar

pcbuildingman 1 Build 1 point 26 months ago

nice build. one ziptie does them all! jk.

that is an amazing OC at 4.8ghz. I have the same cpu/cooler combo and wondering what are your idle temps?

Also what is your voltage at 4.8ghz?

Glad you mentioned the explodeung Gtx 1070 ftw lol I requested some thermal pads just now , Thanks bro! Also what voltage are you at on your 6700k , I'm 1.28v for 4.5 but I just started the oc last night. The 6700k runs pretty cool , I idle at like 26 and get max temps of 72 on prime small ftt with a cheap hyper 212 I had left over from 2011 lol I put 2 corsair sp120 on it I had left over. I'm curious how high I can get the voltage till I hit 80 full load. Nice build btw!

I knew a guy who tried it and now his motherboard is sticky and smells like lemons. He tried to RMA it but asus wouldn't help him at all for whatever reason...

vagabond139 5 Builds 1 point 26 months ago

I feel sorry for the person who job it was to touch it...

Frank_Liu submitter 1 Build 1 point 26 months ago

It's actually in 12-way SLI right now.

But less than 4 months, you found out pretty quick comoared to other users.

AnyOtherWay 1 point 26 months ago

The more important question is now how can you set food in your parts list...

AnyOtherWay 1 point 25 months ago

Yeah, I already figured out how a couple days ago.

StickyStix 1 Build 1 point 25 months ago

Are you getting a solid overclock on the GrillForce 970? Might be getting one soon due to the amazing graphics.

Frank_Liu submitter 1 Build 1 point 25 months ago

Yeah, overclocked it to 3.1 Ghz. I still miss my old house.
