Description

This was my 1st custom build. I was willing to take my time and save in order to get the parts I really wanted. After much reading, asking questions here, and tons of Reddit trolls, this is the build I came up with for myself. The 1st and 2nd benchmark pictures are of the 3DMark Firestrike test results, the 3rd benchmark picture is of the 3DMark Firestrike Ultra(4k) test results, the 4th test picture is of Unigine Heaven benchmark with EVGA Precision X up just to show the GPU core clock & temp under load. (I am amazed at how cool these 980s run) All in all, I am extremely pleased with this build.

how much of a difference the watercooled gpu made vs the stock cooler. I am considering watercooling mine but it is expensive a bit

I never used the stock coolers, but I can say that when playing with the overclocking on my GPUs, it seems like temperature has not been a limiting factor.

Is that hardline water cooling or soft. If it's soft you did an excellent job hiding it. Nice build, you're the first person I've seen with a pci-e ssd, are you noticing any differences between that and the 840 evo?

its soft line, and thank you I tried to make it look as straight as I could. honestly I didn't notice much difference, if any between the two, but I had to take out my PCIe SSD in order to run my vid cards in SLI

Very nice looking build. How do you like the Acer XB280HK? I have been thinking of getting one when I do a build. How long is the included DisplayPort Cable with the monitor? I can't seem to find the answer online.
