Description

I thought that the building of the computer was really easy! The only part I had troubles with is connecting the power of the case to the motherboard and the bottom of the case got bent in shipping somehow but I just bent it back. Other than those two things, no problems. This computer is really powerful for only having the i3 in it and with my graphics card I can play BF3 on the highest setting with no lag! I also have to screens in a different order than most by having one on top of the other but I can use both no problems. Overall I am very happy with my computer!

NEVER cheap out on the power supply. Next thing you know you surfing the web and you computer blows up. Replace it ASAP.I recommend a Corsair one. Its only 10-20 bucks more. Well worth it.

For that price range a Corsair PSU really isn't much higher quality.

actually there are great deals recently for a 500, (im guessing a 600w as well) You can get them for $29.99, usually $49.99 I think. apparently, logisys isn't the best. everything else looks great and is similar to my build

Yes, but I'm telling you that the low-end Corsair PSU's (Builder Series) aren't of the same quality as something like the AX Series of Corsair PSU's. This is because Corsair's CX PSU's are OEM'd by CWT, but the AX ones are OEM'd by the PSU giant Seasonic.

TL;DR - If your PSU budget is low, don't buy Corsair, or get a bigger budget.

Yeah but it's still better than the logisys. Logisys psus are even worse than the worst corsair.

That psu is dangerous. I would replace it.

Completely agree, the OEM for logisys is unknown, I'm reading through in depth looks at some of their products, a lot of insight all of them are only capable of drawing at max 65% of their quoted power before burning out. I Highly suggest, as everyone else is here, that you dump this PSU, its worth more in scrap metal than it is as a PSU.

Really nice budget gaming build, but I'd replace the PSU like everyone's been saying.

listen to the voices here: GET A BETTER POWER SUPPLY!!!

i know of (and seen) someone who had a Logisys power supply. when unplugging the cord, the power plug literally got ripped out, causing the power supply to blow up... luckily, nothing was damaged other than the power supply. still, having a $25 power supply explode and potentially taking out one or more other components is WAY more expensive than simply getting a more proper power supply in the first place.

Replace the power supply and when you do, route those cables behind the motherboard tray.

you mean you get good frame rates on bf3? frame rate and lag are too different things.

How much did the cpu cost? I saw online it was 150-200. Wouldn't getting a different motherboard like the H110M ASRock better with a G4560 and better and cheaper DDR4 ram? There's a 1x8 DDR4 ram at 2400. The processor is cheaper also. Under $100. I'm no pro though.

HOLY psu.

also, your CPU, 3220 is the lowest intel you should buy. lower and AMD is a better choice always
