got bored of my solar powered calculator so i built something on the cheap. power draw is nice also, somewhere around 40-60 watts! overclocked steady to 4.8Ghz. the gpu is clocked at 950Mhz..Prime95 4.8Ghz stable max heat;48°C. ambient temp 34°C. Cpu fans and System Fans at 100% yet quiet while watching a movie.

Whats games can your A6-6400K Run, i was thinking of buying one. And how much Vram do you have dedicated to it.

umm sorry for late reply..been afk for a while. it can run most games..for example Grid2 at 40-60 fps with medium to high resolution. it can run metro at impressive frames at resolutions of 720 1280x768. street fighter x tekken. 60FPS 1080p...and overall the power consumption is just great!

I have a 5400k rig as well. These things are awesome. No power meter though. Do you really only get 40-60W power consumption with that thing? (System draw of course, since that's the only thing you can measure, short of sticking multimeters into your mobo, which is sketchy.)

For the record, system draw would be somewhere around 80W fully loaded. So 40W idle seems reasonable actually.

Edit: assuming you still have this thing 17 months later.

I have a solar powered calculator so i did this i made a a nice cheap one. with solar powered its like WHEN ITS NIGHT TIME HOW DO I CALCULATE! STUFF WHEN MY PHONE IS DEAD!
