Description

Hey Guys, I build this computer about 6 months ago. I kinda forgot to upload it..Opps. Anyway. It is a PC for the family, so that I can finally have some peace in my room. No more people asking to borrow my PC. If only you could hear the peace and quiet that goes in my room now.

The computer is nothing extraordinary, but I was surprised to see that it could play games like LoL(Medium to High Settings) and Tera (Low settings lol, but it can still play it).

I recently added a wifi adapter (Which is what prompt me into uploading the build). So far so good.

Cable Management on this thing...It was quite the challenge I must say, but luckily there was an empty Optical Bay that was just asking for cables, and I couldn't say no now could I? Hope you guys like it.

Warning: The paint of the case is bad...really bad. I can see rust stains in a couple of spots where oil from my hands(I have sweaty hands lol) may have stayed. If you are on a budget, find another case, Maybe the Cooler Master N200?

feedbacks and constructive criticism is always welcome

Really good cable management, got to love cramming extra cables in a 5.25 bay. I would have gone with a higher clock speed ram for the apu, 1866mhz would have been good. Upgrading to dual channel would also be a good idea. other then that its a really good build all around. what os did you decide to go with?

The performance increase between single and dual channel is minimal. It's just a marketing rumor that it matters. Although I'd still buy two sticks instead of one because you can split them up and it just looks better.

It was my first build. I did not know the things I know now. I am planning to do the things you have mentioned. Maybe get the Evo 212 and overclock as well. As for the OS, I installed Windows 8.1 32bit. I was going to get Windows 7 but I decided to give 8.1 a chance. Best choice I have made. It is such a sweet OS.

I would upgrade that ram to dual channel 4x4gb 2133 or 2400mhz ram. It'll help with your graphics.

Yes Sir. That is in the upgrade bucket list. Hopefully I will get them soon...when I get the money that is. The college life sucks your wallet dry my friend T_T.

How's that wifi adapter working for you? I'd like to upgrade my usb wifi adapter to one that won't overheat and stop working for days at a time. What kind of signal to you get, and from what distance? Does it ever just stop working or overheat?

To be honest it is working like a charm. The computer is one floor below the wifi router. So I would say a distance of about 30ft-40ft. And I can stream 1080p videos on youtube with no problem. I would consider that a success my friend. I will put some speed test results after I get my internet speed fix. I am supposed to be getting 40mps-60mps but something is not working right with their server and me. I will update that info probably within a week from now so stay posted.
