After watching my GF's laptop boot up, take forever and sound like a jet engine, I decided she she needed something better. Having completed my build a few month prior I had a few parts laying around (all components marked as $0). So I set off with the goal of making something cheap she could run photoshop, do some light video editing and play some games and this is where I ended up at.
I really like the aesthetics of this case. Being able to put the HDD and SSDs hidden away in the back allows for ample space to decorate. I'll be interested to see what the GF does with it.
Building in it was a breeze except for the 8-pin CPU connector but half of that is on the power supply. It's 4+4 and there is very little room at the top of the case above the MB, so getting both pins in was a challenge.
