Description

I'm coming from a X4-860K with a 750ti......so this might be a little better. I don't play a lot of games, mostly FFXiV and Overwatch.

I can have multiple tabs open while gaming with no lag/stutter, so good for me.

CPU- It's like night and day.

Cooler- I just like how it looks.

Motherboard- Super easy, no problems and more than enough for what I need. MSI Mystic light works but it seems like they half-assed it compared to my sisters ASUS. Got it with CPU bundle at Micro Center.......good price but I had to drive to Houston, next time I'll probably pay extra so I don't have to do that again.

Ram- Really the only thing I'd change, but I got it on a Google Express sale.

Storage- Got the M.2 to see what the fuss was about and while my PC boots up super fast, I'm not sure it was worth it for me. Using another SSD from old PC.

GPU- Love the look.

Case- I originally wanted the NZXT 500 for the simple reason of the front panel connector, but I'm happy with the Fractal. It was easy to build in and I like the mesh front.

PSU- 650 watt might be overkill for me but the price was really good....sister got it for me. (All the $0 prices were gifts)

Case fans- I love the simple ring and that they aren't overly bright.

Cable extensions- Better than I thought they would be for the price.

The build was super smooth and Windows booted right up. I'm super happy with the outcome and can't wait for the next one.

That's CPU Cooler looks nice. What are your CPU temps?

I did the MSI boost thing to 3.8....with that idle is high 20's and when I'm playing Overwatch low 40's......I have no idea if those are okay numbers(haha).

I bet you appreciate the dust filters considering it's your cat's new bed. I just recently did a build with the same GPU, CPU (2600X), and case.

When I first got it, I was like "why the hell do I need a top dust filter?" now I know.

You will come to appreciate them with time. Believe me. ;)

Why do you say you would change the ram? That’s what I had planned on getting for a similar build. I also have two cats so I will appreciate the top dust filter on my case too! The build looks ace man.

Looks cool!!! I have a question: how you has connected CPU cooler led lightning? Via jrgb or cpu_fan connector? I want to buy a new cpu cooler and firstly I don’t know how to sync cooler leds with motherboard leds. And what about cpu temperature in games: is it worth to buy???

Hey I'm thinking of getting a pc after my exams but I was just wondering how do I sync rgb vengeance and mother board lighting because i thought vengeance is only compatible with icue. If you managed to sync them do you mind telling me what software used.

I used MSI Mystic Light software to sync mine. My sister has the Pro version ram and she was able to sync hers with the Asus software.

I just built a pc with this motherboard. When I download the MSI mystic light software I get an error message saying "This platform is not supported" after the software is done installing and I try to run it. Have you had this problem? The factory red is so ugly.

What Mystic Light version do you have? I have version 3.

I downloaded the mystic light version 3 and it just said "This platform is not supported" which obviously is not true it literally says Mystic Light on the motherboard box.

I just put together a build list with almost the exact same stuff! You are clearly a man of culture and refinement as well. The build looks excellent friend. Cute cat btw.

I don't know about culture and refinement, but thanks anyway! I'm pretty happy with the outcome. You should post yours when you get it built! I'm not going to tell her that because it will go to her head.

I will! I just finished my build over the weekend and I will boot up and install windows tonight. I ended up getting the NZXT H500 case but I did buy those same PSU extensions. The only issue I had is the cable extensions are pretty long for the space in the back of my case but I am making do. Could you maybe send me a pic of your cable management since you have those same wires? I just want to get a better idea of how to route them. Thanks!
