Description

As long as the used parts market keeps going the way it is, I will probably never stop putting out these cheap gaming units! It's way too much fun!

that 5 dollat cpu! The question it feared in its hayday was 'But does it run Crysis?'

Hmm I'm really interested in these used parts market. +1! Just wondering, what kind of FPS do you get on a machine like this? I was looking at building a cheap pc just for the fun of it and I want to see how these typed of pcs hold up!

guitpicker007 submitter 129 Builds 1 point 6 months ago

They hold up pretty well, actually. 45-60 fps in most games, depending on the settings.

have you benched csgo or gta 5?

guitpicker007 submitter 129 Builds 1 point 6 months ago

Yes, and both run 60+ fps in 1080p mixed settings.

Love it. I actually just took the i5-750 out of my son's build a few weeks ago (found an i7-870 on eBay for a decent price) and I'm currently putting it in a PC to sell locally. The really weird thing is I'm looking today at an MSI HD6950 that's on my local Craigslist for $60 to complete the build. Eerie.

Nice entry level card!

Easy +1 here!

I have a NAS with an i5-760 and a fanless HD5450 1GB that does wonders! :-)

Why do you have a fan big enough to use in a harvesting combine, but nothing to generate heat??
