Nice build! What made you go with the 2666 RAM?

Owen_Lee 1 Build 1 point 13 months ago

Good emphasis on aesthetics! It looks beautiful :) Did you do custom etching on that side panel?

have you tried overclocking your gpu memory? I got the same card and it doesnt go very far due to it have micron memory chips. I thought the cards memory was advertised to run at 9gbps

Dougiefresh79, I'm curious how you like your build. I'm doing a similar setup with a 1600x and g.skill ripjaws 3200 and a 80+gold 650 power supply. I was wondering what your temps are, and how your games run at full settings (fps). Are you overclocking as well? Thats my plan, I'm aiming for full 3200 ram speed and if i get really lucky 3.9 or 4.0 clock

How much did you pay for the 1060?

Looks amazing but this is way overkill for a 1600...

Please keep feedback polite and constructive.

I don't understand the problem with my original comment. Sure it wasn't polite but just because his build is full of flaws and I mention all of them it's not a rude comment and it was constructive.

I hate it so much when people think I'm being rude just because I mention lots of problems. There is a huge difference. And you seem to be someone who doesn't see that difference.

Calling someone stupid, going "really? really? really?", "ruined your whole pc", etc

These are not appropriate ways to give feedback. You are free to comment on part selection but we expect you do it respectfully and politely.
