Description

This little rig has been created for one reason only gamin and only gaming. I purchased parts one or two in a time so it has been a few months of assembling. This is not my first rig, i built them and use them some time and then i move on, but with this mini itx compact case i fell in love, man it is so good to operate with hardware inside it is mod frendly and so good looking. I used black and red theme so all the components are in that color scheme except graphic card because it has a blue windforce logo but i get used to it and its a best buy for that money. In future im planing maybe to change gpu and buy Asus 980 ti but we will see, for now this machine can handle any new games on ultra and stable frames on full hd, like Witcher 3 frames are going from 50 to 60, but regularly its 60, on bigger resolutions will steel be good, but for this money its excellent.

Overall good looking build. It's just that the price of the SSD is what kills me. Maybe you got at a better deal? But 120 gb is not enough at all still. I bought the exact same SSD brand at the same price but it was 240gb instead. Charmin is right for sure that it is pricey. But hey, if you got money to unload, by all means, you do you.

As i sad to Charmin here we got Euro and it eats Serbian dinar , i bought cpu, gpu and mb in Hungary, if i had to buy them in my country prices would be like: 400 + €, 400+€ and 250+ € and that is too much :-)

Just curious, how did you fit that GPU in this case as it states that the max GPU length is 290mm?

Indeed. Does it go in without modifying the case?

That's way too much for a 120gb SSD. You could've gotten a 250GB 850 Evo which would've performed just as good or better and have more storage. Also a more advisable PSU is the EVGA g2 750w, but that's more preference. Lastly, if you are only gaming, than why did you get an i7 4790k? There's no performance difference so you could've saved 100 bucks and I don't know, gotten a 500GB SSD. Still cool build, I so want to build in that case, and +1!

Thnx for advise but in Serbia prices are much bigger on Pc components, i got half of them from Hungary because they have similar prices compared to US dolar but here Euro is kiling our standard, and i7 well i already had an i7 2600k so wy to go down to i5. :-)

Ok i see, but still you could've saved some money for games maybe because i5 and i7 won't make a difference. Also the upgrade from i7 2600k to 4790k actually doesn't make a difference in gaming. Maybe a few FPS, still I can see your reasoning, so happy gaming!

I know but i changed cpu only because of motherboard to fit in mini itx case because i take my pc to work so it has to be another socket and mini itx motherboards are relatively new so there is no 1155 socket.

Yeah, also why did you build in mini ITX? I have no problem with this, I just wanted to hear your thoughts on it, because I love seeing ITX builds!

Because of mobility mostly, i have a job in a godforsaken place and need a easy to cary desktop pc, yeah i know why didnt you by a gaming laptop i hear that a lot :-), i have a laptop but its overun by time and its useles for gaming and im a big fun of desktop rigs so this is a prime reason, and a corsair graphite 380t was must have case for me, first i wanted yelow but again in our country only black was posible to buy, sorry for long reply, i would recomend everyone this case who' in with itx rigs, chears!!

That SSD is twice as much as you should pay.

Get an ADATA SP600 for like 50 bucks.

Thanx, I agree on that, and after 2600k i just couldn't go with i5, its true i will not need hypertreading for now, but who knows.. temps are great now that i upgraded to AIO this deepcool is freezing cpu, it is litle louder but its nothing extreme.

i5 can game good but think in 3 years or so.. the i5 is already becoming weak why build and i5 gaming Pc now when its not gonna be good in a few years when you can spend an extra 100 and be good for a good while.
