Description

The little Rosewill PCI Fan works wonders, believe it or not. Though, does offer a noticeable sound, it's constant, so you'll be used to it in no-time.

Adding Second R9 270X until next year, when almost all of this will be passed on, and I'll add my R9 295x2's.

The case looks nice, but the price....ehh.....Over $2300 for an FX 8350 and an R9 270X? You know, I could build a GTX970 SLI setup with the same price just sayin...

Actually, the prices that are reflected on here are NO WHERE near what I originally spent. Such as the RAM for example. Roughly $80-140 for 2x4gb cards, where as I paid $39.99 for it. My GPU was under $120 when I purchased it. My HDD was free, while the second was purchased at bestbuy for $30 on sale during a black friday sale a few years ago... These are just the prices the site placed on it based on current prices.. I should probably change it.

You should also note, that my headset and two mice are included, and they weren't the cheapest either. (Nor the most expensive)

Okay. Lets minus off the pheriperal and we are left with $1643. And also minus off the discounts and the incorrect pricing for Windows 7 we are left with around $949. But then look what I can do under that price.

You could have gotten a GTX 970...well this is only my take, anyways don't take it too hard :) All I'm saying is that maybe you should try and manage your budget even better. I forgot to add in extra fans but the money gap should fill it.

well with me, it was more for the look and feel of my case, and all that. Plus, I'm full AMD. But I do appreciate your input.

Swap out to a more powerful PSU and a cheaper R9 290X and voila!

That's a weird placement for a radiator, never seen that before..

Also, 8 degrees idle? What do you live in, an igloo?

The way I have the radiator facing on my hardwood floor, it keeps it ridiculously cool! That's why I placed the radiator at the bottom, pulling air in. I tried it in the back and was running at around 18-20 degrees idle.

18-20 degrees is plenty...

Hey, the cooler, the better. :) Im actually working on a refrigerated pc now. Just finishing drawing up everything with the use of a mini-fridge compressor, and going to see how it works! Hahah

As cool as that is, I wouldn't do it, don't want your CPU like freezing up or something

I'd be doing it more of a "hey guys, check this out" more than anything. Haha

Nice build. That case looks more ridiculous every time I see it.

I have always liked the Level 10 cases since the first Titanium one... I hope, when I do my 2x R9 295x2 build, FX-9590, I'll spend the $1200 and get it, just because... Well. It'll look wicked awesome haha.

Good choices for speakers power supply optical drive, and the Hitachi. And Corsair RAM of course.

Maybe an Eizo display could make you happier than 2 average ones? Try it if you can, the Eizo 2436 ;) find a shop selling it and accepting long time returns (amaz..) and try it.

I Like them, but I was thinking of two of the Asus 31.5 PQ321Q 4k monitors. But thanks! If I can find a good deal on the eizo I may!

$147 mouse? IMO its an overkill. You could've spent money elsewhere. And who pays $475 for Windows 7? When it's $85 Next time do some research before purchasing!

That was a problem with the site. Paid no where near that for it. And I got that mouse when it came out. This isn't a "new" build. This stuff was purchased when it came out. I just uploaded it here to easily send to others.

personally i think that you shouldn't get a case more expensive than you gpu unless your gonna upgrade it in the near future, also you probably don't need 2 mice but otherwise the build is sound and that is a good case but a gpu is much more important than having a good looking build

I got the case on a good deal, and I've always wanted it, so I picked it up. I'm actually swapping most of the parts out and upgrading, and passing them to my girlfriends PC. I should be getting two R9 295x2 when we move, so I'll probably be giving her the case as well! Haha

Were the KUHLER tubes long enough to get all the way to the bottom of the 10gt? I have the 10 GT SNOW and the same CPU cooler and I'm concerned about running the cooling tubes across the top of my 970...

I don't see anywhere else to hide the radiator though.

I have one hose touching my R9. It's not too tight (Card is 11.25in in length), but it does slightly touch, and I felt the need to place a piece of fire/melt resistant foam between them, just to stop any rubbing. But I hadn't had an issue a year+ doing it without the foam. :)
