Description

Just a little budget build I had in mind. Using it for mediocre gaming/rendering. The tower costed $677.31 which was right under my $700 tower budget.

CPU: Went AMD for the budget. "low energy" I guess.

MOBO: I honestly decided on using this board just because of the free case lol. AMD doesn't have a lot of mATX to choose from, actually they only have two with onboard USB3 headers, this one and the gigabyte one. Even though it's old it still does the job.

MEMORY: Was cheapest then got it for $99.00+tax. too bad the mobo supports only up 1866.

STORAGE: Cheapest too. got it for $69.99 with rebate.

GPU: "low energy" theme I guess.

PSU: Got it for cheap. $24.99 after rebate.

CASE: Free, did the cable management as good as I could.

Thanks for checking it out. Sorry about the prices in bulk. Got the CPU & SSD together from Tigerdirect, yay for no sales tax. PSU/case also from Tigerdirect and MOBO/GPU/MEMORY from Newegg.

nice budgeting on this build. Probably best bang/buck you can get at just under $700 (although i dont like the e series FX processors)

I'm curious why you did choose the 8370e over the cheaper, yet more popular 8350. I do know that the 8370e has even better overclocking capabilities. Is that something you plan to do in that case?

I know you mostly laid it out in the description, but the way you have your parts list priced out is confusing.

Sorry about the pricing. I got lazy and put them in bulk but I got the 8370e for 179.99 At tigerdirect free shipping plus no sales tax since I live in Cali. Comparing the two in price, it was about 15 bucks more but it's okay. Just the idea of going 'low energy' build so I won't need any afternarket cooler, maybe when I OC later on. Right now it idles at 10-20c and games at 35-45c

You idle at 10-20c on the stock cooler? That is impressive.
