Description

Built this system on a whim as my first build in over 10 years (since back in the core 2 duo days) since I've been using gaming laptops ever since to carry me through high school, college, and grad school with various moves in between. Now that I'm stuck for a few years, figured it was time to build a new PC with a complete overkill of parts. The CPU AIO is mounted in the front with 6 fans in a push/pull config with two extra corsair sp120 RGB fans mounted to top as exhausts and the AIO GPU fan mounted to the rear.

The only thing that really bothers me with the components I got is how long the tubing is for the GPU aio fan/radiator. Might try messing with the card location and seeing if that helps, but right now, the tubing just gets all bunched up because it doesn't need to go very far, and it's just annoying to look at.

Hope you enjoy!

Temps & voltages?

Cool build.

Don't remember cpu temps off hand, but I remember during the OC being limited by chip stability and not temp. I was getting it to post at 4.15 ghz but couldn't keep a stable long term benchmark run (crashed prime95 after 20 min). I think voltage right now is at 1.425.

How do you like the 1800x with 1440p 144hz? Edit: 165

sameerchervu submitter 1 Build 1 point 1 month ago

It's solid so far, one of my buddies convinced me for ryzen over 7700k. Most games it's fine at holding that high refresh rate but I'm probably going to also upgrade with zen 2 or plus or whatever they're calling it next year if it gets good reviews

the AIO CPU cooler only has two radiators fan right? which fans did you use to align the two? top and middle or middle and bottom front fan.?

sameerchervu submitter 1 Build 1 point 1 month ago

Nope, the aio is a 360mm rad mounted to the front of the case with 6 total fans. Put 3 sp120 rgb (came with the case) at the front in push and the 3 fractal design fans that came with the AIO on the inside of the case

Awesome build! I also have a hybrid style gpu, and intend to get the same AIO for my CPU. I was wondering what your temperatures are like in this radiator config. Like, if there's a case that can do the 360 on top and the 120 for the gpu in back, then I'd like to do that. Temps please!

So right now, I have the 360 in front and the gpu in the back with 2 120 mm exhausts up top, and after a solid 2 hr gaming session CPU temps maxed at 59 C, GPU at 50, and case temp at 57. Hope that helps!
