Finally my first build! Thanks again for all the help from everyone here :)
It was the first time I ever built a PC, no less by myself, so I was a bit stressed out. I stayed within my budget, but I splurged on a new screen a little (good thing I did, too, since my old monitor decided to die).
Nothing went wrong during building, either. There was a moment where it didn't turn on, but.... in the end it was fine.
If you're wondering about the name, I name all my electronics after Ragnarok Online enemies. Here is a Gemini-S58. I was looking at other names and even almost named it Valkyrie, but the last Valkyrie I had had some...unfortunate fan issues, and I didn't want to jinx this build with the same problems.
Great for this price! I had to stay within my budget so it was the i3 and not the i5 for me. That's fine for now, though, since I'm not doing anything extremely intense.
This motherboard had all the features I wanted, plus tons of USB ports. Spending the last six years with my laptop's two USB ports was extremely hard... It set up easily and the BIOS is easy to understand and read.
Even though it's Sandisk, getting an SSD was the best decision about my whole build, to be honest.
I knew I wouldn't be able to afford any of the current high-rated graphics cards, but at a friend's suggestion to check out the 750ti, I looked at the EVGA brand. Many other reviews stated it was the best for its price, and so far I'm very happy.
They produce sound, which is all you're really going to get at this price.
