***PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK :D DOGE WOULD WANT YOU TO :P****
So this build, it's my third ever fully complete build, and my second that was for me (the other was for a friend of mine). It was actually a pain in the butt to get completed because of a few problems, but in the end I have a stable and decently cool 4.5Ghz overclock and a 780, so I'm very happy. Now lets do the "Why did I choose this part" Grind:
CPU: Awesomely powerful, I want its power for editing, rendering, some 3d application, CAD use, and later on game development. And the reason I chose the 3930k over the 4930k is because it runs cooler and near just as fast, and the 3930k was on sale for $450!
MOBO: I originally wanted the light blue Asus color scheme, that why some of my parts match, so I started with the P9X79 Pro, but it was DOA and I was past the one month return time with amazon so I had to get a new one, and I must say I am extremely happy with the up4. Overall it looks nice and has an awesome amount of features.
CPU COOLER: Big, quiet and cool. Plus it matched my (OLD) color scheme, and it still looks really nice anyways. EDIT: Not working as the reviews suggested, im only at 4.5Ghz and It is way too hot at idle. Might get the CM Seidon 240m. Edit Again: Im going to be custom cooling it as soon as I can get the funds, I will use 2x 240mm radiators and it will include both the CPU and the GPU. I want it to last a long time so I will be spending something around $650-$700.
RAM: Fast and cheap and XMP certified.
STORAGE: Hyper X 3K is blazing fast and I love Kingston. And the Barracuda was cheap and can hold a lot. Not much else to say. (Edit: The Seagate's are very loud and because they aren't being used as boot drives I think I would have gone with the WD Greens)
GPU: OHHHHHHH BABY!! I love the look, the feel, the everything with this card, runs cold, quiet and fast! I have absolutely no complaints here and I didnt really even look elsewhere for another GPU. (Unless the r9 290x actually came out with an asus custom cooler Edit: It did :(, but I love shadowplay because this PC was built with recording in mind, that's why I chose the 3930k, but if I could redo it all I wouldn't have gone with it, instead with the 8350. Mostly because the H.264 encoding is barely slower).
PSU: Quiet, powerful, Seasonic. Nothing else needs to be said, I started with the TX850M and it only had 4 extra plugs for cables even though being advertised as modular. Silly Corsair, that's not Modular, that's SEMI-modular.
OS: It works? Edit: Not bad.
Overall I'm extremely pleased with this build and i'll make an edit later after i've had it for a couple of weeks, but for now, i'm going to format my hard drive and install a game and see how this goes!!
****EDIT: I'm "only" at a 4.5 Ghz overclock and the temps seem really high. At idle I get around 39-45, at load its ok but that seems way too hot for idle, so im thinking of getting the CM Seidon 240m with pull for now and push-pull later.
Also I am having to RMA the GPU because I get random black screens, artifacting and some screen tearing (Edit: No more black screens or any artifacting! :)).
