Description

This is the first gaming desktop I built for myself, I am very excited. I purchased star citizen and my laptop wouldn't play it even on low so I built this to meet the high requirements. Since building I am adding a Corsair Commander Mini since the motherboard sucks at letting me control the case fans. I also gutted my WD My Book and put the 1TB internal and also have my WD My Passport 2TB external still.

Not bad at all. Though having those side fans is way overkill (even when overclocking). But it's better to have overkill than vise versa.

You should have gotten the 4GB 960 IMO. For another 30 dollars, those extra 2GB of VRAM could have helped. Otherwise great build, I'm in the process of setting up a rig with a 8350 and a 960 4GB.

As of right now the same video card in 4gb is $50 more, but still your right. I should have just gone a little further and gotten it. I can run all but 2 games on ultra and those 2 can still be on very high and still hit 55fps!

Not bad and those temps are just to dreamy, how easy was the H100i ti install?

Pretty dang easy really. The screws don't go all the way through so you hold the radiator to the top of the case and screw it down, then hold each fan to the other side and screw them in. Cake and it runs amazing cold! Things start running a few degrees warmer after a month or so but hold steady well below any air cooler. I've also installed a H80i in a previous build and its been running perfect since too...

Where did you buy the Gigabyte 960 where the "windforce" has the LED light up? Right now on newegg looks like it doesnt... REALLY want that card with the LED windforce looks pretty slick.

This is the one I bought, I thought they all had it. What it could be is that there is a G1 gaming edition and a standard edition, both 960's and both windforce.

Actually just installed one, it rocks and ya I could have spent more time with cable management but I am not super anal, just wanted it to be operational!
