Description

This is my first PC, I used to use a mid-2011 iMac. There's no comparison on how much better this new PC to the iMac, it's certainly unbelievable to me. The 1080 Ti Founders Edition is godlike, i don't have any other graphic cards to compare it to but it dominates every game i throw at it. (It looks sexy too)
The motherboard is also one of my favorite pieces of this build. Once I saw NZXT's first mobo coming out, I was pretty nervous about purchasing it because at the time, there were hardly and reviews on it, and most of them were people speaking another language other than English. I went ahead and bought it. First things first, it looks good as hell. It's clean, modern, simple, everything I'm looking for to match to simplicity of the NZXT S340 Elite. The only trouble I had with it was the "L" shaped heat-sink cover on the top. It's extremely hard to get on and off, and once it was in the case it was a nightmare maneuvering cables under it and around it.
Another thing, the cables. I bought custom paracord-sleeved extensions from Ensourced, and they're gorgeous. Astonishing craftsmanship and quality. Sorry about low-quality photos

Just so you know you can sandpaper off the green on the graphics card to make the logo white. (Double check this though because I heard about it years ago)

I wish I had this! (I think that this isn't enough RGB and you could get G.Skill Trident Z RGB Ram for the same capacity for less and I would throw in 2 or 3 Kingston A400 256GB SDD so the 850 EVO could be a boot and main apps and the Kingston SSDs would be in Raid for games and stuff.) You could switch the i7 to an i5 and get better OC though for the same amount of cores for less.

Did you get the lights with your motherboard?

Yes. In these images I didn't have them turned on; I just keep them on a very dim white.

The stock fans that came with the case.

Do i still need to purchase a Hue+ system if I buy this Mobo? I see that it says its integrated but im just curious and dont wanna waste any money

No you don't need the Hue system. CAM detects the LED strips that come with the motherboard and you can control it all from there.

Can the logo be taken off on the kraken or does it always stay on, you can just change the color of it?

Great build +1 point but why the 1080p monitor for a gtx 1080ti totally overkill for 1080p
