Description

WhoooHoo! So excited! This was my first experience in assembling a pc from scratch! You know what? It works too, haha!

The fans are from Novonest (Amazon), couldn't find them on pcpp db :(

The provided gpu riser (it was included in Thermaltake G3 case pkg) looks and feels like stale bread (seemed very fragile) but it works, then it's fine :)

The Schythe cpu cooler it's a bomb, net 10 celsius degrees less than intel default. Be clear: I put it in just for the visual. Indeed I'm not even sure if I can OC cpu seeing that os non-K. Have to investigate, bios tells Intel Boost enabled or something like that but I don't believe at all this means that I can OC. Speaking of it, advices would be much appreciated!

I must admit: building pc is an awesome activity! That's more of the mere sum of the parts... dunno... now t's like I feel the love for my new pc <3

Cheers!

Witcher 3 - 50-60fps (above 60 in dungeons/houses) with Medium settings with Nvidia Hair Stuff ON Overwatch 60 fps with Ultra settings (no dynamic reflections) Warframe 60 fps HeroesOfTheStorm around 100-110 fps

I know the pain tho, that Core G3 doesn't allow for too much cable management.

Nice first build, that case is pretty unusual looking. +1 :)

Ha! That's the hard part! And that's only the visibile part: there's another big and hidden mess of cables just ahead the psu, between it and the hard drives slot. Really didn't know elsewhere where to put those extra lenght :( I should have watched some tutorials before it.

A way before, the hardware actually comes from my previous rig, built and suggested by an hardware retailer. Didn't liked the huge case he picked up for that MicroATX then I decided to dismantle/rebuild, even to learn!

But, shouldn't i3 be a bottleneck to the rest? You mean an OC'd one? Retailer told me to buy at least an i5 :S

Other side of the coin: which graphic card I should get for my configuration (without having to change psu, that is 500w)? Please suggest, I'm going to upgrade in a short while.
