Description

I got a great deal on the SSD so that's why it's in this build. Had a 970 in here but just got a MSI gtx 1070 the other day and I'm loving it :) I painted the CPU cooler bracket just to make it blend in with the black & red theme. Custom red 24-pin, 6/8-pin PCI-E and 8-pin CPU cables are from Bitfenix and I love them! Picked up a Corsair K70 LUX (mx blue) and Logitech G502 RGB mouse. Also painted my room black. Used to be an ugly yellow lol. I hate having visible wires so I went and drilled a hole through my table then cut a slit in the mousepad and routed the keyboard/mouse cables through.

Honestly think your build is pretty flawless at this point, even the PS4 looks absolutely delish. You got yourself a plus Juan my friend. +1

+1 for that sick ps4.

Beautiful clean setup there.

Absolutely flawless, amazing man! For the GPU, a 1070 performs like a Titan X, so you should pick up one of those.

Updated the PC with a MSI 1070 and got rid of 1 of the SSD's since it wasn't being used. The new keyboard and mouse was much needed. No more cheap peripherals! Also painted my room :D

Excellent build, I'm doing a very similar build. Had a quick question for you. Thanks for your time in answering if you can.

Did you have any boot issues with the 3200MHz RAM? Can't fine your compatibiliy here https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z170A-GAMING-M7.html#support-mem

Looks like a a lot of 2400MHz + are not 4 DIMM supported if you ever wanted to go 32GB

I have not had any problems with the ram. To be honest, I chose the red Trident Z's because of the aesthetics haha

yes, you and me both. Going for a Black case, Red and Black interior. OCD gets the best of me.

Where did you get those red wires for your power supply?

Nice Build! I like how you literally drilled a hole in your table so you wont see cables XD +1

Question. What did you use to connect your monitors to your gpu? I also have two of these monitors and I am in between getting a display port hub with hdmi inputs or connecting one into the gpu with hdmi and one with display port using an adaptor.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm not as active as I used to be on here. I used a normal hdmi cable and a hdmi to DisplayPort cable that I found on amazon. Hope this answered your question.

I will never understand a red build that's not sporting AMD/ATI. love it though!
