Description

After a year of living with the original Nightstalker, I've overhauled everything. The only bits that stayed the same are the motherboard, CPU cooler, and SSD; all other non-peripheral components have been changed, including the case. Therefore, I figured this is essentially a new build.

This machine is my really high-resolution gaming machine and also my multimedia editing rig. My audio equipment is for DAW use for making music.

The Fury X is amazing, handles everything I've thrown at it in 4K, including The Witcher 3 and GTA V, at the maximum refresh rate for HDMI 1.4 - 30 Hz. However, I'm using it at 3200x1800 for gaming since the refresh is a much more fluid 48 Hz. Everything else is done in 4K though. I have a fairly decent overclock on it using Sapphire's TriXX software.

Is the CPU the same? Or you upgraded that?

You need more than 1 picture.

Can you play 4 K with one card? I would figure you need 2 in Crossfire. There are some nice parts in your build.

the benchmarks are full ultra settings, turn AA down or off and you'll get a smooth 60 in AAA games and much more on games that people actually play on a regular basis.

I swapped CPUs with another identical one to attempt to get a higher overclock. My old one was a very unlucky chip that could barely do stock speeds.

I kept getting errors when trying to upload a couple more pics. I'll try again later today.

Yeah, I tested GTA V and The Witcher 3 and both worked flawlessly in 4K with MSAA off (don't need it at 4K anyways).

Nice build! Love the fury x but what do you mean it handles everything you've thrown at it at 4k? Surely you don't mean you can run the witcher 3 on ultra in 4k with one gpu!

I can, actually. However, this screen is limited to 30 FPS and that's exactly what I get. I don't run HairWorks or AA; HairWorks just ain't worth it and AA isn't really necessary at 4K. Everything else is maxed.
