Part Reviews

CPU

Great CPU over locking is effective ,but wouldn't recommend cverclocking above 4.5Ghz. Also if you leave it in away mode for more that a few hour it get really, really hot, like too hot. Other than that it was phenomenal and renders high quality photos at th speed of light.

CPU Cooler

Great cooler, keeps my CPU at a good tempurature under a decent load, I've yet to stress test and see the tempurature ,but over all it works until you try to over clock past 4.5Ghz on my i7 6700k

Motherboard

Great Motherboard, has all slots necessary ,but I can't fit RAm into the first socket ,but that's also the coolers fault too ,but It could've been placed a little farther away.

Memory

Great RAM, really smooth and fast with heavy loads, Only gets up to 75% usage with every program on my computer running which is about 50 programs.

Storage

Great storage ,but its write speed seems a little slower than what the specs told me ,but that's probably just because it fluxuates in speed.

Video Card

Awesome. I got top rated on the leaderboard on Cinebench, (a benchmarking software), no slowdowns in fps unless I'm doing some insane sh**. Sits around 150fps at most games, slows down to about 80 on the really beefy games of when I do something too extensive that make the whole game lag in general. Also stays at like 43-52 degrees Celsius even on a stress test! I think that the Titan or Titan X would've blown me away further if I couldv've afforded it. xD

Case

Amazing, ,but I just can't seem to fit both the SATA cables in the same 2x1 socket the angle of the rubber garments are too far in. Ambient temp. stays really cool too. Lastly the lighting is a-mazing.

Power Supply

Well its a power supply, it gives power. Not much else to say. I guess you could say its efficient, stays cool, and looks sleek?

Operating System

I actually got Windows 10 Pro because they were out of Home at the time ,but I guess it would've been good? xD

I don't think you should have got a i7-6700k with a $25 cpu cooler.... And also, unless this is a workstation/gaming and not only for gaming, you shouldn't need the i7, an i5 would've been fine.

Think in the long run.

It maintains a cool tempurature unless you leave it on in away mode for two days accidentally like I did, ,but its fine and yes actually its supposed to be a gaming computer, its supposed to be able to run beefy games on max settings.

From what I've heard the 212 evo is fine for gaming on the 6700k. Nice build, I will be getting one very similar this christmas. Just to confirm, does the cooler fit in the case?

Yes the cpu cooler does fit in the case ,but buy another fan to put on it to make it a push pull configuration. When I did that I could get rock solid 57 degrees c. Overclocked to 4.5Ghz. Make sure that if you're gonna buy another fan for the cooler make sure its from coolermaster so it can mount on the cooler, any old fan wont work.

And the 57 degrees c. Is under a stress test.

Oh rly because i just ran stress tests and it only got to 57degrees c. so get your facts straight. The hyper 212 evo's a good cooler.
