Part Reviews

CPU

Great CPU, OC'ed to 4,0GHz. Perfect for editing and multitasking, but also great option for gaming.

Motherboard

Good board, with enough OC potential. Though, needed to update the BIOS in order to work good with R5 1600.

Memory

Great memory, works at 3200MHz with R5 1600 and B350 Tomahawk Arctic.

Case

Very solid case, with plenty of customization options. Removable drive cages and ODD bays, a lot of mounting points for watercooling loop elements.

Awesome

Seeing builds like this makes me want to make my next build a black/white theme. It just looks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo clean that it's actually insane. I just built my first PC 2 months ago so my next build is definitely far into the future, but man builds like this make me wish I had tons of money so I could build a second one.

dylan2749 1 point 11 months ago

nice build but the bend in thee top is not parralel with the case and its missing some fluid

MatthewPcTech submitter 5 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

It was missing some fluid, coz the pump was off while doing a pic and it's the highest point in the whole system. I didn't have enough time to make a new bend, so for now it is as it is.

Looks great, but why water-cool a R5? it doesnt seem like a good use of money.

LatiosGaming 2 Builds 2 points 11 months ago

Why not? He could push it if he wanted to. I've seen lucky ******** get 4.2 GHz on air.

Hydrophobic 2 Builds 2 points 11 months ago

Same reason I water cooled my 4690k. It's not always about the performance gain.

MatthewPcTech submitter 5 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

Exactly @Hydrophobic. @cwuzell I'm pushing it quite hard, actually managed to hit 4,15 after a lot of hours spend checking different settings. Other then the perfomance tho, it's also about the looks and the silence

jsh048 1 Build 1 point 11 months ago

Amazing build! as a mastercase owner myself this makes me want to fully watercool my system.

Metro 2033 axiom no?

customgtp 20 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

Beautiful....Feature maybe??

customgtp 20 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

I would love to see some sort of white fan in the rear exhaust!! It would finish it off

MatthewPcTech submitter 5 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

Didn't have time to change it, but soon I'm changing it to Corsair AF120 with white Oring, as I have one lying around.

customgtp 20 Builds 2 points 11 months ago

Omg. I just watched your video. absolutely amazing

I am really thinking about doing a custom loop on one of my builds. Did you buy yours as a kit or in pieces? And where is the best place to buy? Thanx

MatthewPcTech submitter 5 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

Pieces. Buying that way is the best, coz you can choose each waterblock, rad, etc. When you buy a kit there's not much of a choice when it comes to particular components and it's just better to customize the whole loop instead od going with kit :)

customgtp 20 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

Okay thank you. I've been looking. Going with 2 240mm rads. Do you think this would work and if no do you have a recommendation?

I'm happy that you like my build and it got so much up-rating, thanks ❤️

Luckiestluck 1 Build 1 point 11 months ago

why spend so much on custom loop? and not get a 1700?

MatthewPcTech submitter 5 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

My m8, who I was building this PC for a wanted LC and said he doesn't need 1700, so I did it that way.

Luckiestluck 1 Build 1 point 11 months ago

seems like a waste, a very expensive loop on a high end mid-tier CPU

pchardcoreuser 1 Build 1 point 8 months ago

Why only 1 ram stick?

jenna__ 1 point 16 days ago

Sooo pretty! Wish I could find the Tomahawk Arctic for my own build :(
