You should prowl for used 380s soon. I know I plan on selling mine once the 480. You should be able to max everything. Also, if you want a very solid 1080p IPS on the cheap HP has one on Amazon. Its really great.

Yeah, I might have a look for one but if I have the cash I might even get a 480

That'd be even better, I hope you are able to.

You need to clean your dusty GPU, and your cable management looks like last nights left over spaghetti. In addition clean your room. Have you ever heard of a vacuum. I'm sorry if i'm hurting you feelings, but i'm just trying to help. You don't want your friends coming over and seeing your room looking like a dusty hot cheeto bag.

it works pretty well, i can get 45-60 frames on battlefield 4 at medium settings.

Just one problem, my CPU has one broken pin so as a result one of the cores is a lot slower than the other 3 :(

IF you have the coin, go for that 6 core phenom. It's a beast and would be a good replacement for waht you have now.

Will have a look for one but the 840 has served me well for a while now and it probably will keep on doing so

Well... the main point of the replacement was the fact a pin was snapped off... I'm pretty sure with that consideration it's quite a bit faster. Plus, it's an unlocked core, so it having a lower clock speed doesn't really mean much.

The 840 is doing just fine thanks and I can get a stable oc on the 840 @ 3.8Ghz but I choose not to because of the heat
