Breadboard Developer Workstation Build

by breadboard.ai

Our goal for this specific build was to create an insanely fast PC; we don't like waiting (obligitory). We wanted to run dual M.2s in RAID 0 so we went with a Z170 chipset for the motherboard. We went with the fastest CPU compatible with the socket and the fastest GPU we could get our hands on. This rig is fast, and compiles stuff like a monster.

We did run into a few problems with the build: * CPU cooler fitting incorrectly * BIOS updates failing * Configuring the M.2s in RAID 0

Check out more info about our full workstation on our Blog!

This is beautiful! Clean, concise, on point, just an all around wonderful build. Rubber ducky is a nice touch too. +1

+1 for a dual M.2 set up, I didn't realize they made motherboards with more than one M.2 slot.

This board actually has 3 but we needed some of the PCIe lanes so we could only run 2.
