This is only my second build and I didn't intend to be doing another one for some time... Although when our old PC decided to trip all the electrics out and fry it's mobo - it was time for me to come to the table.

As mentioned above, I haven't built anything since my Mediocre Gaming PC ( which turns out, far from mediocre, it's awesome! ) and I had to whip something up for work.

I didn't have a budget, although I know bang for buck is always nice and considering this won't get used all too much and is only used for browsing the Internet really... The specs suffice beautifully.

I went for brands I know and tried to use similar products to my gaming build and it's turned out awesome.

It totaled up to about £340 in the end with a new keyboard etc... It outperforms the old PC massively and it's fantastic!

Part Reviews

Great little CPU, ideal for the office build that I've just completed! Out performs the old one and seems lightening fast!

Good Motherboard, bar it's lack of 3.0 Headers

Really impressed by HyperX in my gaming build, so only right I used it in here too

Quick boots, that's all I wanted!

Again, I took this from my gaming build as I was very impressed... i'm still very impressed!

Incredible looking case with plenty of space to work with, very impressed

Power Supply

Seems good so far, pretty impressed.

Optical Drive

Had as a precaution, not actually used it yet but I think jobs a good one.

-Why no skylake? -integrated GPUs use ram, I suggest adding another stick.

Other than that, this will be sufficient for a long time!

I'll add another one in time. This one is honestly only used for browsing Chrome, it has no other use!

I think you should have went with the quiet version of this case because it comes with sound dampening and 2 fans.

It's quiet as it is! I'm next to it now and I can't hear it running.

Looks nice, some cable management would give it a nice premium look and feel
