Description

The 7600k overclocked is good enough to run things such OBS for streaming to platforms like Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, etc. It is also good enough to run small servers to host personal applications. Because the 7600k has iGPU there is no need to install a graphics card as this machine is solely for the purpose of running servers or streams. 16GB of RAM is way more than enough for what is needed. You can get away with 8GB on this setup. Only a frequency of 2666MHz is really necessary anything higher will make little to no difference in performance. The current setup stays at around 20-30 C even when maxed. The two elgato pros are beneficial for seamless transition between gaming pc and consoles without a switch involved.

What's holding the fan under the Elgato cards? A feature of the case, or improvisation?

Ah, I like its simplicity. I could have used this recently instead of something with too many pieces.

I paired it with a Noctua 92mm. I know it’s not really necessary considering this build isn’t pulling a whole lot of power but nothing beats temps sitting in 20s in usage haha. I too like the simplicity, I was skeptical at first because the parts are not what I’m use to but it handles well for what’s it purpose is used for.
