Description

List Note: Couldn't find the same PSU model listed but it's in one of the pictures. Also, the case is black and red instead of just black. I built this with the help of the guy in the shop( he did the cable management, I may or may not have been too lazy to improve that later) I'm running Windows 10 and everything seems great. I haven't overclocked the cpu yet but I definitely will in the future. I decreased the Power limit on the GPU(which led to it downclocking itself) to get the temps down(65c specifically) until I get a couple of fans to improve the airflow because right now it really sucks(And I thought it would be fine :( ) But even with that everything runs great. Witcher 3 is maxed out (except for hairworks) @60fps and Tomb Raider is even higher. The H5 seems to be great. It's pretty quiet(even though that might be because of the fact that the stock case fan is pretty loud) and the CPU doesn't really get higher than 50C while gaming. I also like the Samsung monitor. It's a PLS panel so quality is great. It might not be height adjustable or any of that but space between the panel and the stand of the monitor allows me to conveniently just slide the central speaker in! What I don't like that much though is the case. I was actually planning to get a white S340 but it ran out of stock. I know it's budget case and it's really obvious if you look at the overall quality. But for not that much more money you could get a much better case.

why haswell when skylake is around the same price point?

Motherboards I believe are more expensive, and DDR4 ram is slightly more expensive, As are the overclockable CPU's. Everything is just slightly more expensive.

true true, but in a system that costs this much it would have only been a marginal difference in price for a way more updated platform

Maybe he could not spend that extra dough, but still wanted a quality, solid system.

I'm from Egypt and prices are a little different. Couldn't afford Skylake if I wanted the same gpu and 16gb ram.

How is the compatibility between the H5 Ultimate and the case? I have the exact same case and wanted to know if the compatibility of some CPU coolers, the H5 ultimate being on of them.

Do you still have the stock fan on that case in the rear? You might want to consider putting it in front and/or orientating the PSU so it exhausts the air from the case.

I might just get an extra fan and put it in the front.

Pretty good. I also can't hear it over the case fan.

I got it from a local store in Cairo. It's some sort of a special edition nzxt source 210. No idea where to get online though.
