Computer works very well for what I need it for. CS:GO, ARK, hopefully No Man's Sky when it gets released. I have tried streaming and it seems to hold up very well, not getting too hot, although with my bandwidth being so low it's hard to stream anyways. Love the computer, happy with myself for building it. Much better than my old iMac I was "gaming" on.
The hardest part for me in this build was getting the heatsink on. I probably fooled around with it for a good 30 minutes before I just yolo'd it and screwed it on. Other than that the build went very smooth, until I tried to turn it on. I had the power switch plug on the wrong pegs and it wouldn't turn on, almost went through the window. Fixed that and she cranked up. Then I couldn't connect to the internet, I was getting very frustrated by then (it was like 2am). So I looked online for answers and got nothing, then I went to my motherboard box. Sitting there on top, the disc. The one disc to rule them all. The driver and utilities disc. Popped that bad boy in using an external disc drive I had laying around and I could connect to the internet. And a big shout out to MSI for all the "crap" that you put on that disc when you download everything. Like seriously, I don't need MSI USB Boost or MSI Boot Faster or even Nyhamic or whatever that is.. All in all this was fun and challenging and I'm ready for another one.
Tips and criticism is much appreciated on things I could have done better.
