Description

First time computer builder. Chose to go with a hackintosh build. Had a problem with the water cooler, but I fixed it with plastic washers because the cooler wasn't making full contact. There are a few kinks on the software side, but I can live with it. I love this build. No more buying pre-made computers!

Nice, seeing this case pop up and I really like it.

Too bad it's equipped with a time bomb.

Interesting. I didn't know that. I guess I'll find out later. Good thing it says 3 year warranty. I just hope they follow through or it's covered.

What kind of troubles did you have?

Probably installing OS X or dealing with Corsair Link.

Yeah, I figured that's what it is, but I was wondering about specifics, hahaha

pretty sure it was corsair link software, as everything in his rig should work almost out of the box with mac os.

It did! I used tonymacx86.com for the guide.

Not yet. I have Yosemite running well right now. I don't want to mess something up by upgrading. Which version are you running?

Want more pictures of how the case all bound looks on the desk.. But the stuff you chose: Specifically the GT 740 Is a +1

  • 1 point

He probably chose the GT740 because it works out of the box with MAC OS.
